Pinoy Street Food Fish Ball.

Once you have gone to the Philippines you will be experiencing eating delicious foods in the street, sidewalks and schools. For an instance while you're on your way to work or in a journey you will surely get hungry in streets so most Filipinos has established an mini cart that cook and sells foods while in the street and in any public and populated area. Fish ball is one of those foods that they can cook in their mini cart while you wait, it is delicious and cheap and most kids, students and street workers love to eat it. Nearly all of fish ball vendors skewed fish balls on a bamboo stick and there are some vendors just placed it in a plastic or paper plate. Literally, every fish ball vendors has different sauce flavors for their fish balls, there are sweet sauce, sweet and sour, salty and spicy flavor. However most customers loved the spicy sauce flavor.

You can found fish ball vendors or stalls in most of the Asian Country like Singapore, Malaysia, China, Indonesia and Philippines. As it says from it's name "Fish ball" it is made from fish meat that comes out to a round meat like a ball.

These are the most suggested Pinoy Style Fish Ball Ingredients:

200 grams grated carrots

1 kg galunggong fish (round scad fish) - fillet

200 grams grated potatoes

1 cup all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon pepper

1/2 cup soy sauce

1 teaspoon salt to taste

2 eggs

Oil for frying

Note:

Better shape those meat fish into balls with your hands and once it's cooked place it in a bowl instead of a skewer for a formal dining.

Once the fish ball is already stinky then it's rancid or stale, however it is still safe and edible except for children to avoid indigestion especially those Fish balls from the streets and stalls. So be aware and take note of that.

Caution to customers:

Do not buy fish balls from a dirty stalls with dirty facilities, it may cause you to food poisoning especially to children who has a weak digestive system. Be sure to check the stalls if it has a clean equipment for your sake. This caution has been displayed since there are some fish ball stalls that haven't cleaned for weeks and stalls and fish ball vendors sometimes don't think of cleaning their equipment which they used it daily and fish ball vendors are mostly alongside the streets so it is practically exposed to germs through dirty and polluted air and dust.
